TASK 1: PROTECT YOURSELF FROM CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL INJURY/CONTAMINATION USING YOUR M40 SERIES FIELD PROTECTIVE MASK WITH HOOD.

1. Remove Kevlarİ PASGT helmet, place on barrel of rifle/carbine

2. Don FP mask within 9 seconds.

3. Don the hood within an additional 6 seconds.

4. Pull the hood draw cord slider snug.

5. Fasten the hood underarm straps and adjust them.

6. Replace your Kevlarİ PASGT helmet over the FP mask and hood.

7. Close your FP mask carrier.

8. Remove your mask after the "all clear" order is given.

9. Store the FP mask in the carrier
