1st TSG (A) COMMENT: This is war! Soldiers will buy whatever they damn well need to stay ALIVE. This is war in the MOUNTAINS. Why wear a flimsy, weak belt around your waist when you could wear a Rigger's ("cargo") belt made of parachute harness nylon that could SAVE YOUR LIFE by clipping a snaplink to it and be hauled up a rope, use a rope as a safety or climbing line or god forbid the "safety nazis" ever consider this, RAPPEL.

Rigger's Belt

Next, its obvious that the current helmet suspension is uncomfortable and unstable, M22 7 x 50 binoculars are too large and bulky, socks not blister preventative enough, anglehead flashlights too heavy and bulky, and the ALICE rucksack suspension is not good. Soldiers can ill-afford to stop and pull out a canteen to drink in a firefight so they buy drink-on-the-move systems....
