A persistent reporter and critic of the lav3stryker fiasco is Don Loughlin. Don is a retired ordnance engineer and is also a former marine tanker. His detailed and blunt criticisms have not been publicly refuted by any Department of the Army, DARPA or DOD official. He used the Army's own data and sources to critique the Army leadership's false justifications for the Stryker program. He is a fierce champion of upgrading America's M113 Gavin light tracks which are intrinsically superior to wheeled Strykers in cross-country mobility, armor protection, firepower potential to be our light, airborne, air assault and special operations infantry and cavalry mission mobility platforms.
